A grand turnout for the First State Amateur Radio Club's 2006 Field Day, despite threatening weather! We were joined by ARRL Delaware Section Manager AD3M, members of the Christiana Amateur Emergency Service (CARES), and many of our colleagues and friends. As in years past, the event took place at the grounds of AM station WDEL in North Wilmington, Delaware. We sported an antenna farm that would be the envy of any permanent station, all under the cone of protection provided by WDEL's massive transmission towers. We had excellent operator support throughout our 24 hours of operation, including logging support from XYLs and colleagues alike. All in all, it was a wonderful weekend, and we look forward to our next event!
